National Police Week

Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.)

The team at NEWCOM appreciates and supports C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) in their tireless efforts to rebuild the shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line of duty deaths. In honor of National Police Week and each day thereafter, we give thanks to our law enforcement officers in the line of duty.

C.O.P.S. programming and services are significant for law enforcement officers and their surviving families by promoting awareness and peer support that helps to rebuild and heal when tragedy occurs."

As 2021 National Police Week wraps up, we want to share C.O.P.S. Virtual Memory Boards honoring the 2020 and 2021 Roll Call of Heroes – You’re in Our Hearts and We Thank You.

More about C.O.P.S.

Every year, the C.O.P.S. recognizes that every law enforcement officer is subjected to crisis and tragedy as a part of their job.  They see the most unthinkable acts of criminal behavior in our society. This conference offers a much needed focus on officer wellness and the need to pro-actively address the cumulative stresses that can occur over an officer’s career.  This conference is for all law enforcement officers (active or retired) nationwide.
