National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.)
C.O.P.S. Concern for Police Survivors
The team at NEWCOM appreciates and supports C.O.P.S. in their declared National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) on January 9th, 2021. In support of law enforcement officers nationwide will promote National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.). In light of recent negativity directed toward law enforcement nationally, there is a need to show law enforcement officers that our citizens recognize the difficult and sometimes impossible career they have chosen, in public service to us all.
Among the many citizens who appreciate law enforcement and are discouraged about the negative attention being given to law enforcement we, in support of C.O.P.S., combine our efforts to take time on January 9th to show our support.

More about C.O.P.S.
Every year, the C.O.P.S. recognizes that every law enforcement officer is subjected to crisis and tragedy as a part of their job. They see the most unthinkable acts of criminal behavior in our society. This conference offers a much-needed focus on officer wellness and the need to pro-actively address the cumulative stresses that can occur over an officer’s career. This conference is for all law enforcement officers (active or retired) nationwide.
