National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.)
C.O.P.S. Concern for Police Survivors
National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) is an important reminder of the courage and commitment required of Officers nationwide and the responsibility we share to recognize the difficult and sometimes impossible work they do to protect and serve our communities.
Each year on January 9th, our team has made it a priority to visit local agencies to drop off cards of appreciation, share a meal, or simply say thank you. Building on those meaningful connections, we’re excited to expand our efforts throughout the year, reaching even more departments and continuing to spread our message of appreciation.
Each year, Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) calls our nation’s citizens to action in support of law enforcement.

”Every year we look forward to reaching out to our Law Enforcement friends and customers to show our appreciation on January 9th, declared as Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. This day is more than a date on the calendar; it’s a moment for us at NEWCOM to reflect on the shared values that connect us and the unwavering dedication officers show to their communities. We are proud to support and recognize the vital role law enforcement plays in keeping our communities safe. Thank you for your service and continued commitment."

More about C.O.P.S.
Every year, the C.O.P.S. recognizes that every law enforcement officer is subjected to crisis and tragedy as a part of their job. They see the most unthinkable acts of criminal behavior in our society. This conference offers a much-needed focus on officer wellness and the need to proactively address the cumulative stresses that can occur over an officer’s career. This conference is for all law enforcement officers (active or retired) nationwide.
